I have been reading many books written on Law Of Attraction and associated subjects. I am quite passionate about its philosophy and the spirituality linked to it. Conceptually, I have been very convinced about it but practically I never tried and even if I tried, I always tried with a burden full of doubts. For me it was something to be read and feel good about it till I came across this book "Law Of Attraction" by Michael J. Losier. His books gives a very practical approach to the concept of Law of Attraction. He literally guides you step by step how to generate those positive vibes which complement the law of attraction. Let us take an example, Many a times when we are in trouble and we tend to become defensive by convincing us that we are a victim. Then we use this feeling as a shield to blame others (or our luck / fate) just to pamper our ego. It just feels good to complain and we feel relieved. What we forget in this process is, that we are emitting a very strong negative vibrations to the universe which further deteriorates our unwanted condition. Michael, in his book has given a very good advice to handle a situation like this. Instead of playing victim and blaming others, ask yourself a question, "So, what do I want?" and when you reply to this question, whatever answer you give, it will broadcast very strong positive vibrations. This was just an example but his book is full of such advices which all of us require in our day to day life.
After I completed reading his book, I, for the first time in my life, started actually following the rules of law of attraction. The reason for writing this post was to share my first manifestation of desire that happened as a result of my effort and Michael's guidance. Guys! believe me, the kind of kick that you get out of your first manifestation is unparalleled. Not even the best champagne of the world can generate that sensation.
So it goes like this....
I had just finished the book so I started my day with a very positive note and my first appointment unfortunately was to attend a complaint for one of our security cameras that did not do its job when required. It was a multi-storied apartment block. I reached the place 10 minutes before the scheduled time and was waiting this 10 minutes to pass before I press the bell, when I saw a beggar in front of a shop with a placard "Please help, I have just become homeless". He was a young guy in his 20s. I am normally too busy during the day to notice such people. Also, you rarely see beggars on the streets of Wellington. But that day somehow, I noticed and all that normal crap came to my mind that we should not encourage beggars etc. etc. But, I don't know how but a thought came to my mind like a flash, who am I to judge him? I don't even know why he is in this condition. Anyway, contrary to my normal habit, I gave him a $2 coin. Because, I don't do such things very often, I was feeling a bit embarrassed even in giving him the coin. But the kind of expression that boy gave surprised me. It was one of those expression where you not only see but feel the sense of genuine gratitude. Anyway, my 10 minutes were over and I pressed the bell. The lady opened the door started explaining her problem with the security camera system that we had installed. Somebody had left his /her garbage at an inappropriate place and that time the system was not recording the camera footage. Anyway, We both came to conclusion that although the system was not working when the incident happened, but even if the system had been working, the culprit had a taken such a route that he would have been out of the camera coverage. I fixed the problem and the lady gave a order for another camera. Now that was a pleasant surprise that an unsatisfied customer call you to tell her complain and ends up giving you an order.
Then I went to visit another unsatisfied client who wanted to upgrade his security camera system. I explained various options available to him and since he was already one of those unhappy customer, I gave him the best option to suit his requirement. Problem with that option was that I had to get the stock of those products and this was one of those deals where the cost is more and the profit margin is less. To my surprise, the customer insisted for the option in which I already had most of the products required and my profit margin was high. But the best was yet to come. I called the distributor for the part of the products that I needed to procure to complete the order and guess what?? That part was available on clearance sale increasing my profit by a whopping $1000. This was the moment when I first realized that there is something else working for me today. It was not very normal. It was not the profit margin that I was excited but somehow for the first time in my life I consciously felt that finally Law Of Attraction is manifesting for my desires.
